Hur flyger man drönare?

Exploding Head Syndrome | EHS | Waking up from loud noises

What is Exploding Head Syndrome? | EHS | Waking up from loud noises, cymbal crash, explosion, gunshot, thunder, screaming and or static discharge. Exploding Head Syndrome can be quite scary if you don’t know what it is.

Read more here: https://www.tuck.com/exploding-head-syndrome/

My name is Andreas Fransson aka The Beard Bringer, and today we are talking about the parasomnia called Exploding Head Syndrome or EHS. Exploding Head Syndrome is believed to be caused by a glitch in the brainstem reticular formation, issues in the inner ear, seizures in the temporal lobe, or bleeding in the brain. Which sound pretty gruesome, doesn’t it?

I have been experiencing Exploding Head Syndrome for many years since I was a kid and tried to sleep. And I do think that Exploding Head Syndrome may be the cause for why I am afraid of the dark and sleeping.

Exploding Head Syndrome makes you experience a large, sharp and massive cymbal hit, explosion, gunshot, screaming and or static discharge right at the point of falling asleep or waking up. It is classified as a parasomnia and auditory hallucination sleep disorder.

I still get scared when waking up from loud noises and my heartbeat elevates and I get heart palpitations and start to sweat.

Please let me know in the comments if you have experienced Exploding Head Syndrome, or think you have!

Festis PÄRON POPCORN (Pear Popcorn) soft drink TASTE TEST!

Festis PÄRON POPCORN (Pear Popcorn) soft drink TASTE TEST! Cappuccino Twist! I do not know how this made it into production… The Festis Pear Popcorn drink is the worst soft drink I have ever tasted. The Cappuccino Twist wasn’t that bad, but it still wasn’t that good. Pear and Popcorn flavored soft drink? Who came up with this idea? The bottle says #BeAFestis, but I don’t know if I want to anymore! POPCORN flavoured soft drink TASTE TEST! Festis Päron Popcorn.

My name is Andreas Fransson aka The Beard Bringer, and today I am testing a Pear and Popcorn flavored soft drink, as well as a cappuccino flavored fruit drink. It is the FESTIS Päron Popcorn and FESTIS Cappuccino Twist.

At first, we thought it was a prank drink, but it was sitting among all the other regular soft drinks, and we just had to try it. Popcorn flavored drink? I mean.. why? And mix the Popcorn flavor with Pear? It’s not even complimentary to each other.

The cappuccino one I can see the connection, but still… Fruity drink with coffee flavor. I really think this is a publicity stunt to get videos and reviews online, and that way gets people to buy more Festis and these to try… and in my case, they have succeeded…

Let me know in the comments if you want me to send you one of the Pear Popcorn drinks to try on camera. I will choose 1 person from the comments who get to try this.

MASSIVE Spring floods 2018 in Järvsö, Sweden

MASSIVE Spring floods 2018 in Järvsö, Sweden is getting close to record numbers. It’s been 18 years since the last great flood, but with the huge amount of snow Sweden got this winter, we can expect some water damage in the weeks to come!

My name is Andreas Fransson aka The Beard Bringer, and today I’m gonna show you the beginning of the spring floods here in Järvsö. In just a couple of days, the water rose from normal levels to critical very fast. There are some houses affected by the floods, but mostly summer homes.

I have not heard any reports of accidents, yet. But hopefully, there won’t be any either. The amount of water causing the massive spring floods are coming from the northern parts of Sweden, and the melting snow is causing the floods.

Not since the year 2000 have we had this much water. And before that, it was in 1966. So this doesn’t happen that often.

I know it’s not huge floods like in some other parts of the world, but this is A LOT for our town, and the water keeps rising. This is only the beginning.

I hope you liked this video, and please let me know in the comments what you thought about it.

Harness racing videos & ATV driving!

Harness racing videos & ATV driving! I was asked to film some harness racing videos for my older brother and his wife on Saturday. And so I did! I also got to ride an ATV around and it was so much fun.

Harness racing is a form of horse racing in which the horses race at a specific gait (a trot or a pace). They usually pull a two-wheeled cart called a sulky, occupied by a driver, although in Europe, jockeys riding directly on saddled trotters (trot monté in French) is also conducted.

Harness racing is most popular in Sweden, France and the United States.

My name is Andreas Fransson aka The Beard Bringer, and today I went to my older brother and his wife’s place to film some harness racing videos for their horse breeding and horse training business.

I also got to ride around on an ATV to go to different locations and it was awesome and fun.

Exploring Church Island Nature Reserve PART 2.

Exploring Church Island Nature Reserve PART 2. We look at 500-year-old trees, look at the stunning forest and even find deer droppings. There are many signs of wildlife and past floods. But Church Island (Kyrkön) in Järvsö is also just a beautiful place to visit.

Watch PART 1 of my Island Exploration: https://youtu.be/_9E18kGbXF4

My name is Andreas Fransson aka The Beard Bringer, and today we are doing PART 2 of my Church Island exploration video. I walk in the woods taking in all the beautiful scenery, look at 500-year-old trees and explore the island.

I plan on making more exploration videos from this island, and other parts of Järvsö, as well as telling you stories about this place. I plan on telling the story about the missing church bells in Järvsö, which can be heard from the bottom of the river on new years night… supposedly.

I also plan to take you to ancient landmarks, sacrificial pits, monuments, runestones and other really neat places.

Please let me know in the comments if you want to see more videos like this. Thank you so much for watching!

Exploring an ancient wolf pit on Church Island!

Exploring an ancient wolf pit on Church Island! Church Island (Kyrkön) in Järvsö has been home to the local church since medieval times, and on the tip of the island, there is an old wolf pit where they used to trap wolfs 200-300 years ago. Maybe even longer!

My name is Andreas Fransson aka The Beard Bringer, and today I’m exploring the Church Island in Järvsö, Sweden. A nature reserve with beautiful forests, landmarks and a very old wolf pit.

In the wolf pit they used to trap wolves who hunted too close to the community, and to get them out of the village, they trapped them in this pit. The pit used to be very steep and have wooden stakes pointing straight up to capture the wolves.

I tell a story about the priest Petrus Petri Schissler, who in 1729 fell into the pit with two wolves, but managed to get out alive thanks to the congregation who heard him screaming for help.

My name is Andreas Fransson aka The Beard Bringer. In this video I talk about and show all my tattoos and talk about their meaning, also where I got them and why.

The way I see it, I only have ONE tattoo… ONE big unfinished tattoo on my body, which also is a canvas. I want to fill my whole body with tattoos and make it a piece of art.

I got my japanese inspired sleeve tattoo about 8 years ago. I did my chestpiece tattoo about 6 years ago and I would love to get more as soon as I can afford it. How many tattoos do you have? What does your tattoo mean to you? My tattoo meanings are a bit random, some doesn’t mean anything, while other have some backstory.

Does tattoos hurt? YES they do, at least most of them. I think the ones on my back didn’t hurt one bit, but the chest tattoo hurt so much.

My name is Andreas Fransson aka The Beard Bringer. I purchased the Moza Air 3 axis dslr gimbal a few months ago and have been using it both for professional shoots and on my spare time for Youtube. I really enjoy the Moza Air and it works great with my Canon 80D.

I really love it after the latest firmware update which added auto calibration in the gimbal itself. Before the firmware update you could only do it through the Moza Assistant app, and that could be a hassle having to take out your phone every time you had to do it.

Have you ever tried the Moza Air DSLR gimbal? Let me know in the comments, and please let me know if you have had any problems with the Moza Air.

They all had dilated cardiomyopathy and died around the age of 50. I sometimes get scared when I think about the fact that I might die from heart failure soon, but it also spurs me to fight for my life and get healthier. I will beat these heart problems and hopefully cure my heart disease. It will take time, dedication and there will be setbacks, but I will survive.

I would love some help with a heart healthy diet plan or heart healthy diet recipes. Also some workout plans for heart disease patients. Please leave a comment.

We had a field day with our Youtuber course and got to meet each other for the first time, and we got to meet the famous Swedish Youtuber Hampus Hedström, a really nice guy and super funny comedian. It was a really nice opportunity to visit the United Screens office on Kammakargatan and see how they work, it looked like a really fun workplace. And a bonus was that we got to meet, Jessica, Olle Öberg and FreddyFairHair who sat down with us and talked for over an hour.

I got the Ricoh Theta S a few years ago and have used it a couple of times for fun, but about 2 weeks ago I got to borrow the Ricoh Theta V 4K 360 degree camera, to test and review. So far I am liking the Theta V, and after comparing the Theta V vs Theta S, it has come a long way. I do however do not like the auto white balance, which really is off, especially in a snowy landscape.

This is a pre Ricoh Theta V 360 camera review, a more extensive Theta V review is coming soon!

Järvsö by air – Stunning Mavic Pro drone footage from Järvsöbacken in Sweden 2018. Remember, I’m a beginner drone pilot. Unfortunately I bought my Mavic Pro a month ago, and yesterday they announced the Mavic Air… Talk about bad timing. But I still love the Mavic Pro and I can’t wait to fly more when the weather allows it.

In this video I’m flying the Mavic Pro on top of the mountain in Järvsö, Hälsingland, Sweden, at the ski resort Järvsöbacken. The Snowcat is preparing the snow park, building jumps.

I woke up and saw that the sun was on its way up and I couldn’t stop thinking about the sunrise. Said and done I took my DJI Mavic Pro and headed up to Järvsöbacken and started to fly. Do know that I’m a beginner drone pilot, and it was the first time using my new Mavic Pro ND filters. There are some jerky parts to the video because it was some pretty strong winds up on the mountain.

Järvsöbacken is located in Järvsö, Sweden and is a ski resort. This was shot in January 2018 and my name is Andreas Fransson, also called The Beard Bringer because of my big beards.

DJI announced the Mavic Air yesterday, and I just bought the Mavic Pro a month ago, talk about bad timing, but who knows, I might get the Mavic Air as well, it isn’t that expensive.

I hope you enjoy the video and please leave a comment 🙂

First time riding a SNOWCAT Piste Machine

First time riding a SNOWCAT, Piste Machine or Trail Groomer as they are also called. The Snowcat is used for Snow grooming in the local ski slop, Järvsöbacken, located in Järvsö, Sweden. Tonight they were building jumps in the Snow Park.

I took a stroll up the mountain and waved to the operator and got to go for a ride, it was a super fun first experience and I can’t wait to go again. These machines are so powerful, and surprisingly quiet inside. We could speak at a normal tone of voice without problem.

Next time I’m bringing better shoes tho! 😀

My name is Andreas Fransson aka The Beard Bringer, and this is my vlog from the weekend of Spånga Beard Party 2018, in Stockholm, Sweden. I co-hosted the third Spånga Beard Party and we had a great time.

At Spånga Beard Party we had Beard styling, barbers trimming beards, hair and moustaches, we had a beard competition with three different classes. Best Full Beard 2018, Best Tight Beard 2018 and Best Moustache 2018. We have photo stations where you could get your picture taken by professionals. We had Taco Bar serving delicious food and beer. Both Bearded Villains Sweden and Villains of Stockholm were on site meeting and greeting.

We had a tattoo artist, cigars, live music and really great crowd who made the night a success.

I stayed at the Radisson Blu Royal Viking hotel in the middle of Stockholm and the room was great.

I hope you enjoy this vlog, it is a bit long, but it gets personal in the end.

I also got a beard wash from the Australian brand, The Bearded Chap, called Rugged. It has a pepperminty scent and I can’t wait to try it. The Last item was a Beard Wax from Beardilizer. My favorite wax that I have been using for years. It has a great hold and is absolutely fantastic.

What do you think of my moustache lamp? awesome right? And I hope you liked my beard hauling, or beard products haul, my first but not last of 2018.

TV premiere on a huge screen made of snow!

TV premiere on a huge screen made of snow! Yes, that’s how we do it in Järvsö. The national TV-show Wild Kids was filmed in and around Järvsö last summer, and when the first episode aired last Friday, people from all over town gathered to watch it on a huge screen made of snow.

This is how it looked. Sorry for the dark video.

Wild Kids is a TV-show in a kind of a survivor style themed and is aired on SVT, national Swedish television.

Snowshoes saved my life – Tons of SNOW up to my chest!

Snowshoes saved my life – Tons of SNOW up to my chest! I filmed for Red Bull TV and the Method Mag Movie 3 snowboard movie, with my friend Nils Arvidsson the other day, and the tons of snow that came this winter almost got the best of me. The snow reached up to my chest at some places.

My name is Andreas Fransson aka The Beard Bringer, and I headed out into the woods with my friend, the professional snowboarder, Nils Arvidsson. We were shooting for the Method Mag Movie 3 snowboard movie, to be aired on Red Bull TV in the fall of 2018, and here’s some behind the scenes footage.

This year we got so much snow, that walking would not have been possible without snowshoes. We measured the snow to be upwards of 1.6 meters at some points.

The crazy amount of snow made everything so much harder, but also much more fun. Sorry I can’t show you any snowboard footage, but the movie comes out this fall. This was also my first time snowshoeing.

I was lucky to be able to borrow a pair of Verts Snowshoes from Nils the first day, otherwise I would still be stuck in that snow. 😀

I start out with testing the Røde VideoMic Pro+ in heavy wind, and move on to try the Røde SmartLav+ in strong wind. After that I test the Internal microphone of the Canon 80D in strong and heavy wind.

ICE BEARD in FREEZING cold weather – Frozen beard

ICE BEARD in FREEZING cold weather – Frozen beard for sure. My beard is completely frozen and full of ice. Like a snow beard, but frozen with ICE. All you need it hot water in cold weather. Ice Beard challenge! Talk about ICY BEARD! This is the definition of winter beards.

My name is Andreas Fransson aka The Beard Bringer, and this is how I made a ice beard. Completely frozen beard with hot water and cold weather. The water froze instantly and turned to ice on my beard. When I sprayed hot water into to the cold air it instantly turned to snow particles.

Be careful if you are trying this. Don’t get the water on your skin as it might cause frost burn.

My video went viral… what do I do now?

My video went viral… what do I do now? How do I profit from this?

My video went viral… what do I do now? How do I profit from this? Well, good question…. But first:

I had an idea for a viral video a long time, but never got by to make it happen, until a couple of days ago. It was a spin on the oh so popular circle game…. You know the game where you do the “OK” sign with your hand and if someone looks at it you can punch them on the arm… yeah, a pretty stupid game, but fun nonetheless. Anyway, my idea was that I should start zooming in from Google Earth and then cut to a drone shot of a body (me) laying in a field, zooming in all the way to my hand which made the circle gesture.

Apparently people thought it was hilarious and my video went viral, big time. At the moment of writing this, the video have gotten over 5.7 MILLION views on Facebook, it has been shared over 100.000 times and it’s crazy. I also posted it on Youtube and it has gotten over 5000 views in a matter of days, not as much as Facebook, but still… my video went viral, and that is so much fun.

Here’s the video, on Youtube:

What did you think?

I never thought my video ever would go viral, I thought it would get a few hundred views and people would chuckle a bit, but 5.7 million views, not in my wildest dreams.

So, my video went viral, and what now?
Well, I linked my Youtube channel, Instagram and Twitter in the description after it got traction, but to be honest, I did not see that much of a growth on my linked accounts, neither on my Facebook page where the video was posted. The video is so out of context of what my channels are usually about, and the people liking the viral video isn’t really my target audience.

I do see my video loosing a bit traction as we speak, and I think its 15 minutes of fame is dying down, and it was fun as long as it lasted, but I wished I’d seen more engagement on my other channels than I did. But that is the thing with viral videos, people are mostly just interested in that particular video, NOT the rest of your content, unless it is videos like the one above… which I do not have.

Peter McKinnons Golden Hour Blend Coffee from James Coffee Co

Golden Hour Blend

I ordered Peter McKinnons Golden Hour Blend coffee from James Coffee Co the other week, and yesterday it arrived in Sweden. I was super excited to pick up from the postal office, and when they handed me the package I could smell the amazing coffee. The smell of Golden Hour Blend coffee seeped through the packing bag and left a wonderful aroma around the postal office.

Why did I order this coffee? Well, first of all I love coffee, simple as that. I hate the machine coffee at work and I always try to brew a couple of cups at home before going anywhere, just to be safe. Second, when I head Peter McKinnon released his Golden Hour Blend with James Coffee Co, I just knew I had to have it, especially knowing Peter is a huge coffee nerd as well.

Said and done, I ordered three packs of coffee… unfortunately the shipping was almost the same price as the coffee itself, but it didn’t matter, I needed to get the Golden Hour Blend. Anyway, it arrived yesterday and seeing the snow falling down outside when I woke up this morning, I knew it was a perfect day to shoot.

Here’s my super short film about Peter McKinnons Golden Hour Blend Coffee:

What did you think? Remember, I’m a beginner at filming and I really want to learn and get better, so please leave me some feedback in the comments.

As for the coffee? Well, it was super tasty. I’ve had 4 cups already and I want another one. The Golden Hour Blend is totally worth the price, the shipping and the wait, and I would recommend you getting it if you love coffee.

Did you know I used to have my own line of coffee? Beard Coffee, shocker, right? 😀 It was the best coffee I ever drank, but to super high manufacturing costs and not enough interest in the community I had to put it on hold. I’m hoping, that with the rise of my Youtube channel, that I can make some extra income to pour into my coffee business again.

Fast Food Friday – How to make hummus the delicious way

How to make hummus

How to make hummus? Well, that is easy actually, super easy! So easy that I made a video below to show you.

But first of all, I love cooking, and I always have. I grew up with a mother who worked at a catering business, cooking for weddings, funerals, parties etc, and sometimes I helped with the serving, bartending and folding napkins. I think that is where I get my love for cooking from.

I started a Youtube channel in September 2017 and started making Fast Food Friday videos, where I cooked easy, healthy and fast recipes on video, but when I decided to profile my channel towards beards, fast food Friday had to make way… but who knows, I might start a whole new channel just making food, that would be so much fun, but I need a bigger and better kitchen for that.

Here is the videon where I show you How to make hummus!

What did you think? Not that hard, right?

I have always loved hummus at restaurants, but didn’t really know how to make it until I looked it up. Lo and behold, it was super easy. I thought a video named How to make hummus would be perfect for my Fast Food Friday segment. You can check out my Fast Food Friday playlist on Youtube here: Fast Food Friday Playlist – there are a few videos there.

Stunning sunrise with mist covering Järvsö completely

Järvsö sunrise

YES, this stunning sunrise with mist covered Järvsö completely one early morning in October of 2017. I woke up and all I saw was a dark gloomy and boring morning…. I wanted to go back to sleep, but something told me to get up, go out and to bring my camera… And yes, I do not regret that one bit. Järvsö was showing it’s beauty in the most amazing way ever.

I drove up the mountain at Järvsöbacken, misty all the way except the last few hundred meters, and the view that greeted me was out of this world. Even if the cold weather bit my cheeks and I was tired as a sloth, Järvsö really delivered this morning. I slowly walked to the viewing point on the mountain, facing the sunrise which was just starting and then I saw it… the mist!

Check out this video and see for yourself what I saw!

Just look at that, isn’t that beautiful!

Of course it is, Järvsö is beautiful and it is my hometown. The morning mist swept the entire town into darkness, but above the mist, that where the magic was. Looking out over what is supposed to be the town, I couldn’t do anything but awe at the beauty that mother nature has created. The mist followed the river, creeping up on land and engulfing everything around it, it was so amazing and stunning. I wish it would never end and that I could stand there and watch the sunrise for ever.

What do you think, do you think it is as beautiful as I do? Leave a comment!

How to apply beard oil – VIDEO and easy steps

How to apply beard oil

It can’t be that hard to apply beard oil that you need a video, right? No, and yes…. I can’t tell you how many times I have seen the question “How do you apply beard oil?”, and what’s the best way to apply beard oil?

Well, I don’t think there is a BEST way to do it, as long as YOUR way works for you. But in the video blow I go through the different steps I take before applying beard oil, it’s very easy to follow along and it doesn’t take any time at all.

I do however give you some pointers on great things to think about before, and after, applying beard oil. There are actually stuff to think about, and things that can go wrong. Take blowdrying for example, the heat from the blowdryer can actually damage your beard. Beard oils is however a great heat protector and can help you protect your beard from the heat.

Below is my video showing you how to apply beard oil, check it out.

Is this how you apply beard oil? Or do you have another way to do it, leave a comment!

A common question I get, is: “I’m loosing beard hair, is that normal?”…. Well, yes, and it depends on the amount of beard hair. Because just as the hair on your head, you will loose some everyday and it’s completely normal. Those hairs are dead and were meant to come out sooner or later. New beard will grow and it will look much better.

What did you think of my video? Did you like it? Hate it? Leave a comment!

I would be so happy if you wanted to follow me on Youtube, where I will be posting more beard tips on a regular basis. All you need to do is to Click here to subscribe to me on Youtube!

Feels like I cheated on and disappointed my family….

I disappointed my family?

Well, maybe I didn’t really disappointed my family, or at least not in a super serious way, but it was still hard telling them. You could almost call it a betrayal of a life long tradition. I might have disappointed my family in the sense of breaking that tradition, but sometimes you have to take the leap and be the black sheep of the family, at least for a little while until things settle down.

You might wonder what I did and how I might have disappointed my family? Well, to tell you I also have to tell you a little story, so sit back and watch my video confession below, and the continue reading.

Did you ever make this transition?

This might seem like a super tiny and insignificant thing to most of you, but to me it was actually a pretty huge step.

You know growing up having a family car, a family pet, a family anything, and it’s almost the same brand, type and breed every time. You never budge on your tradition and you begin to love it. Like your favourite sports team, you just don’t switch and cheer for another team overnight, right?

Thats exactly how I felt about buying a Canon EOS 80D, completely going against my beliefs that Nikon was the best and only brand to use growing up. My late father had Nikon, my late grandfather had Nikon, my brothers both have Nikon… and I had a Nikon…. Or, I still have it, it’s just that my main focus is now the Canon 80D. Another huge step is changing out your entire gear park like batteries, lenses, attachments etc, it’s something you really don’t want to do to be honest. It’s super expensive, tedious and may take a while, but then again, getting new stuff is aways fun, so it is a plus side to it.

My family took it really well (as I new they were), and we started to make fun of each other on social media because of my transition etc, but it was all in good fun.

After a month with the 80D, all I can say is that I really like it, especially for my vlogging and video making on Youtube – which you can follow by clicking this link to Subscribe to me on Youtube!

The person who got me interested in Canon is Peter McKinnon, and after watching his videos I knew I had to have one, but I did not want to go high end at the beginning, so I started with the 80D.

My previous camera was a Nikon D500, which I still use from time to time when doing photo stuff.

Did you make the transition from one brand to another? Leave a comment and let me know what your friends and family said about it 🙂

DJI Phantom 4 drone crash in Järvsö Bergscykel Park

DJI Phantom 4 drone crash

Today I’m going to tell you a little story about a DJI Phantom 4 drone crash which happened a couple weeks ago, in Järvsö Bergscykel Park. Why would you want to see a DJI Phantom 4 drone crash? Well, first of all it was me flying it, second it was my first time day ever flying a drone and third…. drone crashes look pretty cool.

It all started with me being asked to help out filming some short sequences for a downhill mountainbike shoot, and of course I said yes. The only problem was that I do not own a drone, nor had I ever flown one. But the same day as the shoot I borrowed one and began learning how to fly, it was much easier than I thought to be honest. Sure, it was scary at first, and it still is actually, but it was not hard at allt. So, first day flying, that’s when the DJI Phantom 4 drone crash happened, on top of a mountain and it got stuck up in a tree…

Here’s the video from the day, and you can also see the footage of my first ever flying:

I think I did an OK job for being the first time, don’t you think? 🙂

I was standing on top of the mountain in Järvsö Bergscykel Park, waiting for my turn to film with the drone, the wind started to pick up and I was getting more and more nervous. I had done some test fly-by’s and it worked perfectly, but as soon it was go time, I would say it was windy outside.

I started flying, following a downhill ride, it looked so good, so perfect and then it happened…. The wind picked up the drone and drew it close and closer to a tree….. and BOOM. There it was, stuck 6 meters up in a tree on top of a mountain… Luckily a friend of mine offered to climb up and get it, and you know what? The drone survived.

I kept on flying the rest of the day, and even tho I was close to crashing one or two more time, I kept my balance and managed to film quite a bit.

It would mean the world to me if you would want to subscribe to me on Youtube, I will share more drone shots there.

BEARD TALK – How to make your beard look bigger

How to make your beard look bigger

This is not a magical formula, beard growth hormons or beard voodoo, this is a simple trick to make your beard look bigger, especially in photos. The trick is pretty basic and often overlooked because of its simplicity, and we tend to forget this when having a bad beard day or days we don’t think our beard look that great…. even tho most beards are fantastic.

Why would you want to do this? Well, everyone(?) want to look their best at most times, and this trick is one that really works and can make your photo or video have your beard on absolute point.

So, the trick to make your beard look bigger is shown in my video below, and I hope you will like it. Please leave a comment if you use this trick when your are taking selfies, photos etc.

What did you think of the video? Is this something you use to think about when trying to make your beard look bigger?

I myself tend to always wear black or dark clothing, not because it will make your beard look bigger, but because I like dark clothing, and because this also does the trick, it’s a win-win situation. I know that my beard isn’t that small or thin to begin with, but with a white shirt I really feel exposed and like I’m having a bad beard day.

So, please watch the video and leave a comment if you enjoyed this little trick, and tell me what you usually do to keep your beard in perfect condition.

And don’t forget to follow me on Youtube – I will be posting more Beard Talks soon! Click here to subscribe to me on Youtube!

Beard Talk ep. 1 – Beardilizer Citrus Blast

Beardilizer Citrus Blast

Welcome to my first ever Beard Talk, in this episode we are talking about the Beardilizer Citrus Blast beard oil – Beard Talk is where I will be talking about different beard products and testing them on video. Hopefully I’ll be able to do this regularly and make it a cornerstone content of my channel.

Beardilizer Citrus Blast is one of my absolute favourite beard oils of all time, and that is because I love citrusy scents, especially Lime. Beardilizer Citrus Blast offers a super sweet and fresh scent of citrus, and I can’t believe how intrigued I am of this scent.

The viscosity is a tad too loose for my taste, I would love a little bit thicker beard oil, but all in all this Beardilizer Citrus Blast beard oil really hits the spot. It smells so good I almost want to drink it.

You can check out my video here, where I’m talking about the Beardilizer Citrus Blast beard oil on camera:

What do you think? Do you like citrusy beard oils?

I’m not payed to say any of this, but I did get a discount code for all of you to use, and that discount code is: “HOUSEOFMANE” – and if you use that code over at Beard-Growth.com you will get 10-15% off on your purchase.

6 super easy PHOTOGRAPHER LIFE HACKS in 120 seconds

PHOTOGRAPHER LIFE HACKS

I made my first life hack video the other day, and it’s 6 super easy PHOTOGRAPHER LIFE HACKS in 120 seconds! I’m pretty nervous about it, and it has some mistakes like wrong focus points and awkward hand movements, but I think it gets the point across, right? 🙂

I have always wanted to do a Photographer Life Hacks video ever since I saw Peter McKinnon’s camera hack video, altho his video is much better, I do have to start somewhere, right?! Peter McKinnon is also a huge inspiration for me and I would love to even come close to his knowledge and charisma while making videos, but I do think my shyness and social anxiety kind of limits me at this moment.

I hope you will enjoy my photographer life hack video, and it’s only 2 minutes long, which everyone should have time to watch. I also plan on making more of these, and hopefully I’ll be able to post another on some day soon.

Anyway, here’s my Photographer Life Hacks video:

What did you think? Does it work? 🙂

I’m trying to learn and make better and better videos to post on Youtube, and hopefully I’m moving in the right directon, please let me know what you think!

Fast Food Friday – Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Halloumi Wrap

Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Halloumi Wrap

In this weeks Fast Food Friday I’m making a Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Halloumi Wrap – and you know what?! It is super delicious, super easy and super fast to make. Just check my video below and it will BLOW YOUR MIND!

I for one love Halloumi, and a Halloumi Wrap with Jamaican Jerk Chicken is the perfect combo to really enjoy a fantastic lunch or dinner. I mean, the taste that the halloumi gets in combination with the jerk chicken is just unbelievable, and it so darn good.

I did however hear something about Halloumi being super expensive, or not even available in some places in the US, is that true? Let me know by leaving a comment, because everyone deserved delicious halloumi cheese in their lives.

Here’s my video of the Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Halloumi Wrap:

Did it look delicious? Yeah, I know, right!

As you can see in the video, I’m not using that many ingredients, and it’s basically cutting up veggies, frying up the chicken and halloumi, and you’re done. In this stressful day you need something fast and easy, and spicy…. The fall is upon us and the winter is coming, and by adding some chipotle salsa I really spiced up this dish. You can skip that if you want, but it was so delicious. You can also change it up by adding different sauces, different veggies and really make it your own, you will love it.

How to CARVE A PUMPKIN for the first time ever

How to CARVE A PUMPKIN

Most of you probably already know how to carve a pumpkin, but for me, living in Sweden, it’s pretty new thing to be honest. Halloween has never been a big deal in Sweden, unfortunately, because I love Halloween, dressing up and making costumes, but since there are so little Halloween spirit in Sweden, most of us just don’t celebrate it.

I did however make a video of my first EVER pumpkin carving…. in my life. Hey, I’m 34 years old and never carved a pumpkin, until now. And to be honest, I think I did a pretty good (OK) job, don’t you think? I remember a couple of years ago, probably 6 or 7, I actually dressed up and went to a Halloween party, and I always go in 200% when I do something, needless to say, I won best costume. I dressen up as a bloody mental patient I think, or something like that.

Do you carve pumpkins in your family? Or, do you even celebrate Halloween? Please let me know and also include what country you live in 🙂

Check out my video on how to carve a pumpkin, and please let me know what you think.

Did I do OK carving this pumpkin? 😀

I actually had a really great time and I’m thinking of getting another pumpkin before Halloween is over and do another one, but maybe not on video tho, or should I?! Maybe carving a pumpkin with power tools would be a pretty cool thing, haha.

Anyway, it would be so nice of you to Subscribe to me on Youtube and help me grow as a channel and as a person. You can click here to: Subscribe to me on Youtube – and while you’re at it, watch some of my other videos, who knows, you might like them 🙂

Steel Wool Photography – Dangerous but insanely fun!

Steel Wool Photography is so much fun!

Steel Wool Photography sure is fun, but it can (is) also be very dangerous. Imagine standing in the middle of a ring of smouldering steel wool flying in every direction outwards from you.

The adrenaline when doing Steel Wool Photography is pretty intense, at least for me, because I love standing in the middle, swinging the fire and let someone else take the photo.

The other week me and my two brothers went to this abandoned train bridge in the middle of the woods. It sits on top of a rapid river that never calms down, and we had to climb on the side of the bridge to reach the middle of it. We went out at about 6.30 in the afternoon to be able to set up everything and get some drone shots in before the darkness fell, and we made it. You can check out my story vlog video here:

I had heard about Steel Wool Photography a couple of years ago, but never got the chance to try it myself, or not really knowing how they did it. But then one night a couple of weeks ago, Peter McKinnon, uploaded a video with him and his friend trying it out, and I just had to do it. Me and my girlfriend actually went to down to the local beach just minutes after seeing the video of Peter’s Steel Wool Photography tutorial.

The thing is, we had everything we needed at home:
A metal whisk
Steel Wool (Svinto)
A non flammable string or cord

… and that’s it, except for a lighter or matches.

But we headed down to the beach and tried it out, and you know what, we succeeded on the first try, and it was amazing. That is why I wanted to go to that abandoned train bridge in the video above, just to do it in a cooler location, and the results were pretty amazing. Check out my Steel Wool Photography pics below 🙂

DEMO Weekend in Järvsö Bergscykel Park

DEMO Weekend with rain, mist and broken equipment!

So, the DEMO Weekend in Järvsö Bergscykel Park was a week ago, on the 30th (and the 31st) or September, and the park was filled with vendors, celebs and outstanding people from the mountainbiking scene, and I was there!

I attended the DEMO Weekend on Saturday to film and shoot some video of the whole event, the downhill race and to just have a great time. I DID have a splendid time, but it was also the day that my newly purchased Zhiyun Crane v2 broke… Read about it here!

The Crane breaking was a real bummer, but the rest of the day was pretty ok…. or… ok, so let’s talk about this.

I had a SHITTY DAY, photo and film wise. My equipment did not want to work with me, my lenses fogged up big time while shooting in the woods, and it was because of the strange weather. It was pretty warm outside, and wet, so the mist was so intense on the mountain which covered my lens in a thick dense foggy coating. The rain was also a huge factor, because it didn’t actually rain rain, it spray rained… The Rain drops were so small and dense, that you hardly felt that it was raining, but you became completely soaked while being outside. It was like a humidifier outside. And those tiny floating drops of rain.. well, they stuck to my lens like a bee to honey.

It didn’t matter if I kept my lens at a downward angle, the rain got to it anyway. I wiped the lens countless times during the day, but to no good. The warm air kept fogging the lens. And if that was not enough, I landed a crooked footstep and threw out my knee which led me to limp down the mountain, cold, disheartened and somewhat sad.

The photos that were usable from the DEMO Weekend turned out pretty OK, but I was so sad that the whole day kind of put me down, photo and video wise. It was however really fun meeting so many awesome people, and friends I hadn’t seen in a long time, so it was kind of worth it.

I made a video about my day, and you can watch it here:

Don’t forget to subscribe to me on Youtube!

Here are some of the photos I took, and edited. Let me know if they are OK or not by leaving a comment!

Mifú Milk Protein in this weeks Fast Food Friday

Mifu Milk Protein from Valio

We tried cooking with Mifu, or Mifú, Milk Protein from Valio and I was pleasantly surprised.

The last couple of months we have been eating better then ever, we have cut down on meat to an almost absolute zero and adopted a kind of vegetarian lifestyle… why? Well, there are a number of reasons, but for me it’s mostly because I have never liked vegetables, and I’m feeling that I’m missing out on something. For my girlfriends it’s the handling of animals and the f’ed up meat industry that’s the main reason.

I do however eat the occasional meat dish for lunch when I’m working or going out with friends, and that’s because I can’t seem to find a good vegetarian substitute here where we’re living at the moment. It’s a small town and most of the restaurants serve vegetarian meals as salads… which is pretty boring.

I’ve been doing Fast Food Friday a couple of weeks now, and always cooked meatless dishes, and when we were at the store last week we picked up som Mifu, or Mifú, which is a milk protein perfect for your frying pan. The Mifu came seasoned in different flavours, as well as natural, but we chose a pepper and chili flavoured one.

I actually kind of liked it, and the more I ate, the tastier it got. You can check out me cooking with the Mifu, or Mifú in the video below, and please leave a comment if you have tried it and let me know what you thought about it. I seasoned everything with som soy, pepper, salt, garam masala and garlic spice. And also added some fried up red union and paprika.
